The resurfacing agent is a combination of BHA (Salicylic Acid) and AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) . The Glycolic Acid is a keratolytic agent that breaks up the keratin in the cell, gently exfoliating dead skin cells, and increase cellular turnover. The dual effect makes an excellent, safe and gentle peel. The skin will feel tight and fresh. Shedding will occur with 24 hours, and the skin may appear darker, due to exfoliation of dead skin that has melanin present. This will gently shed off. This treatment is ideal for the young and mature skin that has excess oil, and large pores.

This resurfacing agent is very mild, yet prickly feeling. This Alpha Hydroxyl Acid penetrates very quickly to the lower levels of the skin because of its small, 2 carbon molecular structure. The skin may appear pink to red, which is normal. The treatment works deep where the blood vessels become inflated and the circulation increases. During the treatment, the skin will feel tight and fresh. Within 24-48 hours the skin may experience some light shedding of old, dead skin cells. This is how the regeneration of new cells and increase production of collagen happens to create younger, healthy and glowing skin. The treatment is great for just about anyone!
